Legal Fee
You Pay Nothing Until You Return Your Completed Documents to Us. This allows you the opportunity to review your documents before you spend money.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: In general, you are eligible for a divorce at our posted rates provided:
- 1. A Full Year Separation. You have been living Separate from your Spouse at different residences for over a full year.
- 2. Marital Property Divided. You and your Spouse are satisfied with the Division of your Marital Assets and neither you nor your Spouse is seeking Alimony.

3. Spouse Email Address. You know and have verified your Spouse's EMAIL ADDRESS.
- 4. Cooperation. Your Spouse will cooperate in processing the divorce and does not object to filing the action in Buncombe County.
- NOTE: If you do not know your Spouse's Email or Physical Address, we can usually process your divorce but it will be more expensive.
How We Do Business
Full Service Divorce:
You Complete Information Questionnaires.
We Send Divorce Documents to You by Email.
You Sign, Notarize, Scan the Divorce Documents.
You Send the Scan of the Divorce Documents to Us by Email.
You Pay the Legal Fee and Court Filing Fee by Credit Card.
We then take care of everything from that point going forward.
You Do Not Have to Go to Court

Spouse Cooperation
Sign and return an Acceptance of Service
Acceptance of Service
It is an affidavit we prepare for your spouse to sign which states your spouse received the divorce documents. It must be notarized
Military
You may still obtain a divorce PROVIDED your Spouse is willing to return the Acceptance of Service.
Public Assistance
You do not have to pay the Court Filing Fee. However you must prove your status with a letter from the agency you are receiving benefits from. Also, you must pay $10 if you are seeking the resumption of your prior name.
Signing Paperwork
Pre-Filing Actions
NO. Your Spouse cannot take an action in a case before the case exists.
Funds
When you RETURN your divorce paperwork.
Venue
BUNCOMBE County. This works if the matter is uncontested since no one goes
to Court.
Separation Agreement
If the Agreement contains FUTURE promises (Visitation, Pending Division of a Retirement account, etc) you may need to enforce the agreement and therefore you should file your divorce in your HOME county. However, in some cases we can assist you with this filing.
Can I Accelerate My Divorce?
Yes. But only if your Spouse is willing to file an Answer.
